Parts of a Narrative

 A narrative has six parts

Exposition

 The exposition has Setting, Characters, and Point of View (POV)

Conflict

 The conflict is the major problem of the story. Its what the main character is trying to solve.

Rising Action

 The rising action is made up of many minor conflicts.  Each minor conflict is easily solved and gives clues to solving the major conflict.

Climax

 The climax is the hardest of the six parts to understand. It is the highest point of suspense. Means right before you find out the solution of the problem.  Its not when you find out the solution of the problem.

Falling action

 This is the part when you know the solution to the conflict of the story.

Resolution

 This is how the story ends.
