Career Project – Part II

 How many students attend?  How diverse is the campus?  How many students choose to attend graduate or professional school?  Where do most students come from (the region, state, country, or internationally?)  How many students live on campus?

 What do I need to include in my application?  What are the important deadlines for admission?  Do you accept AP credit?  Which standardized tests are required?  When will I hear about my admission status?  How should I contact you if I have additional questions?  What percentage of applicants are admitted?

 Do you have the major in which I am interested?  What is the most popular major?  What is the job placement rate after graduation within my major?  What is the average class size? Are first year classes close to the average?  What is the student to faculty ratio?  Will professors teach my undergraduate courses?  What academic support services are available?

 What are my housing options my first year? After my first year?  Can first year students have a car on campus?  What do students do for fun on campus?  What’s it like on campus during the weekends?  Are there fraternities or sororities? How many students are involved?  What clubs and social interest groups are available?  What kind of traditions does the school have?

 What services and facilities are on campus?  How does your meal system work?  What kind of orientation program do you have in place for first year students?  What type of health services/clinic is available?  Is personal/psychological counseling available?  What is the library like?

 Is there an application fee? How much?  How much will tuition and expenses cost?  What financial aid or scholarship opportunities are available from this college?  How much should I expect to spend on textbooks and other supplies?  How often do tuition rates increase?

 Do you offer the varsity sports that I want to play?  What intramural or recreational sports are available?

 What choir, band, or theatre opportunities do you have?  What religious organizations exist on campus?  Do I need to bring my own laptop, or are there computers available for free student use?  How many freshman typically return for their sophomore year?  What security measure are in place on campus?
