Steps to re-enable Library SMS Notifications Updated: 15 June 2011

Do I need to re-enable the Library SMS Notifications? Recently the Library has received reports from users that suddenly they do not receive any Library SMS notifications After investigation, it was discovered that the SMS notification settings of their Google Calendar accounts have been turned off for unknown reasons. If you have been receiving Library SMS notifications before but now you can only receive s notifications but not SMS notifications from the Library, or if you are not sure, please follow the steps in the rest of this powerpoint to check and re-enable the SMS setting.

Login to Google Calendar ( With the account used to register your mobile number

Select Calendar Settings

Select “Calendars” Tab

Click on “Notifications” Link Of the Calendar with the Same Name of Your Account

Make Sure: “remind me via SMS” is included and set to 5 minutes

Click on the “Save” Button
