Security and Shelter Task Completion Social Contact Personal Expression Pleasure Growth (Intellectual Development) Fred Steele’s Six Functions of the Classroom Environment

No classroom can be successful without proper management. Classroom routines, organizational techniques, and management practices can establish a productive learning environment that promotes literacy while also encouraging student independence and community responsibility. By simply involving students in routines such as a daily check in, classroom jobs, and student leadership, students will feel more important in the classroom and will, in turn, be more open to learning Techniques & Management Practices
