John Teaches Jesus the Living Water John 4:1-42

For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water. Jeremiah 2:13 

As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Psalm 42:1 

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! … Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live” Isaiah 55:1, 3

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3  For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. Isaiah 44:3 

On that day living waters shall flow out from Jerusalem. Zechariah 14:8
