Thematic essay blueprint #1 Theme- Political System : Several empires and nations throughout history have been ruled by strong leaders who have policies of absolutism. Examples: Louis XIV of France, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini (you are not limited to these) Task: Define the term absolutism and identify characteristics Select a nation or empire you have studied and identify the specific characteristics of the absolute government there. Task: Define the term civilization Describe 3 examples of intellectual achievements made by past civilizations. Identify what civilization each belongs to.
