With this, there can be extreme focus on simplicity for the "public use" web interface Web interface 1 is for public use Web interface 2 is for use by DOs and UPU members A single administrative process and system/database supports both web interfaces This depicts a country wishing to host the UPU web application on its own website. A country could also refer its customers to the UPU public website, or choose to incorporate the inform- ation on its own website without making use of any UPU web interface Human interaction Data CEP C 1 GD –Doc 6a.Annexe 1

Customer guide for mailing packages internationally This guide provides general information of use to postal customers wishing to mail merchandise internationally, as well as information specific to each destination country regarding articles that are not allowed to be mailed or for which there may be restrictions, such as licenses, certificates, special packaging, etc. The information is available in French and English, the working languages of the UPU. It is optionally also in the language of the destination country. This guide is intended to supplement information provided by the postal operator of the country of mailing. The postal operator of the country of mailing may also have export controls for specific articles. For these, contact the postal operator. Business customers and those with specialized requirements are also encouraged to contact the postal operator of the country of mailing. A different web interface would be on the password part of the UPU website – for use by designated operators. It would have additional information than that available for public use. Both web interfaces would be sourced from the same database. The objective of the web interface for public use is that it be extremely intuitive, unambiguous, user-friendly, and simple to understand.
