Jewel spiders live in north Alberta and B.C. They are also found in Wisconsin Arizona and Missouri. They build there webs on houses in the city. The build them close to lights because they attract bugs.

The Jewel spider catches its food in the web it makes. They can catch any flying bugs.

The Jewel spider builds a orb web. They are around all year but people Don’t see them until July, August or September. So similar species are the shamrock and Marble spiders.
