Brief Background Clinica is developing an open-source, standards- compliant Decision Support Service, with a plan to contribute to OHT Key attributes of planned contribution –Based on decision support service deployed across several health care systems and health insurers –Collaborating with other entities, including Duke Univ. –Compliant with HL7/OMG Decision Support Service standards (K. Kawamoto = project lead) –Using Drools open-source rules engine Originally proposed at Jan ’10 OHT board meeting

Status Update Currently in active development phase Plan to seek Approval-in-Principle status within the next 1-2 OHT meeting cycles Aiming to make initial software contribution within next 6-12 months
