Boston Celtics and its Read to Achieve Program are bringing a new way for young students to learn to love reading. Boston Celtics Young Authors is a way for students to look at reading in an entirely different way but actually writing and illustrating books themselves. With the guidance of Boston’s fine teachers and role models on the Celtics, reading will be fun again for Boston’s youth.

Issue- not enough in-school programs to enhance imagination and education We want to implement a program to improve and develop young children’s minds Get the Boston community involved.

Boston Celtics Young Authors transforms the lives of young people by cultivating their voices through writing and illustrations. This annual experience encourages young authors to promote being creative though their writing and express their ways and self in a different light. Allowing kids to be creative while enjoying reading and producing their own stories guided by their role models, The Boston Celtics.

Our goal is for this foundation to be very promising in the Boston community and for our joining sponsors to get a positive relationship with the community while encouraging young students to use their imagination and be creative!
