Job Readiness Our enrollees have been trained on job readiness skills and basic computer literacy. Our qualified and dedicated candidates are ready to be placed in apprenticeships or in entry-level positions within their fields. They are professional individuals, who are willing to start working right away. Certificate of Appreciation Improve the public image of your organization by adopting the Pathways Out of Poverty program. SEAGO-Pathways awards a certificate of appreciation to the participant company for contributing to the wellness of the community through the incorporation of the program. People’s positive perception of an organization has great economic advantages as they have the power to influence positively in the operations of businesses. SEAGO-Pathways cannot guarantee the availability of all benefits listed above. Some information and pictures presented were taken from external sources and are used for non-commercial purposes; SEAGO is not responsible for the distribution of such information or pictures. Case Manager Assigned to Each Enrollee The Pathways program employs specialized case managers, who are assigned to each enrollee. They are available for consultation related to the Pathways program, such as training, employment subsidizes, drug testing, behavioral problems, and attendance issues. The case managers are available throughout the entire program. Committed Applicants Our applicants have already demonstrated high level of commitment to our organization by completing the training program successfully. They have completed all the requirements to obtain their certification, including taking college-level classes, training classes, assessment tests, and attending regular case manager’s meeting. Our candidates’ goal is to obtain a permanent job where they can contribute with their knowledge and skills to the benefit of the hiring Organization. “Investments in the green economy can revitalize old industries, create new industries and generate new jobs for our workforce.” U.S DOL Secretary, Hilda L. Solis Tax Credits Your company may qualify for tax credits for hiring Pathways enrollees. Examples include: The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) An Employer-friendly Benefit for Hiring Job Seekers Most in Need of Employment Social Security Tax Exemption Income Tax Credit Note: For more information about the cited tax credits read attached forms. On-the-job Training Stipend Pathways may subsidize six weeks of wages for each candidate working for the participating companies. Your company would be saving wage expenses during those weeks, which would be beneficially reflected in your financial statements. SEAGO-Pathways will handle and process the required payments for the program participants during the stipend period. Pathways Pathways is a national demonstration site for building a “green” workforce. Participants to the program will receive training leading to certification in one of three target industries; solar energy, weatherization, or environmental remediation. Training may consist of technical courses, hands-on instruction, or college classes. Subsidized Supportive Services The Pathways program subsidizes supportive services that our candidates might need to be successfully employed, which include, but are not limited to, transportation, child care, and work equipment (gloves, boots, safely glasses, and hard hats.)
