What Did Toby See By Ron Zalme

Toby was looking out the window.

Gilbert was playing with his trucks.

“VROOOM!” went the tow- truck. “CLANG, CLANG!” went the fire-engine.

Gilbert saw Toby looking out the window.

“Mom!” yelled Gilbert, “Toby’s staring out the window again!”

Gilbert walked over and looked out the window, too.

“What do you see, Toby?” he asked.

Gilbert looked and saw Mr. Perozzi selling hot dogs. What did Toby see?

Toby saw Mr. Perozzi handing out free hot dogs the size of watermelons!

Gilbert saw a squirrel. What did Toby see?

Toby saw a friend he could play with on the swings in the park.
