Who Is Beverly Perdue??? Beverly Perdue is the democratic governor of North Carolina. Since she has been governor our state has been changed in many ways as you will see throughout this PowerPoint. She is now married to Bob Eaves and has 2 children by the name of Garrett & Emmett Perdue which are grown and have kids of their own.

Civic Involvement(: Beverly Perdue is a current member of the National Association for Advancement of Colored People. Beverly Perdue served as lieutenant governor from through After being lieutenant governor she took on the role of governor which is where she is at today. Also, she is a current member of Nationally Lieutenant Governors Association. Lastly, She is a lifetime member of Keep America Beautiful.

Where Does Beverly Perdue Live?? Beverly Perdue was born and raised in Grundy, Virginia. She moved to New Bern, North Carolina in 1975 She now lives happily in Chapel Hill, North Carolina!!

Pre-K Program(:  Beverly Perdue has created 2,000+ Pre-K slots in classrooms.  Beverly Perdue’s goal for children is to graduate from high school and graduate from a 2-4 year college program.  She believes that this Pre-K program increases intelligence level in children. the result of students enrolled in this program is they graduate from high school and college.  Beverly Perdue plans for this program to grow larger.  This program is nationally recognized.

Beverly Perdue Beverly Perdue will NOT be serving another term as North Carolina lieutenant Governor. The State of North Carolina will greatly miss Beverly Perdue and her marvelous upgrades for the state. Beverly Perdue doesn’t plan to stop changing the State; even after she retires.
