CHARACTERS Divide the class into three groups and give each group a board marker and a white board. Students as a group will look at the explanation on the slide and write the name of the character and show it to the teacher without talking or saying anything. They have to write with the correct spelling. The group showing the white board first will get 10 points.

 This character wants to make his own statue. He thinks that The Happy Prince is like a beggar.

THE MAYOR

 This character is flirting with the wind and loves her home.

THE REED

 This character is vey helpful and can’t fly to Egypt with his friends.

THE SWALLOW

 This character is crying, has no shoes and tries to sell something.

THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL

 The character’s heart doesn’t melt in the fire.
