The Life Cycle Of Education Filipinos start school at age six or seven. After six years of elementary school, most kids begin four years of high school. High school includes a year of military training. Classes tend to be very large, there are up to 40 to 60 kids in one class. In the mountains children have to walk several miles just to get to school. They even have to bring their own stool because schools do not have enough money. Finally graduation is at age 16 or 17.

In 1986, members of the military decided that they could not follow Marcos any longer. As a result thousands of Filipinos rushed to the streets. So many people were angry that Marcos fled the country for Hawaii. This protest movement is called The People Power Revolution. People Power Movements

Language There are about 70 languages. The two official languages are Tagalog and English. Most filipinos understand Tagalog. Holidays and Celebrations In the Phillippines they celebrate mostly Fiestas or Festivals. But they also Celebrate Christmas and New Years!

Climate  In the Phillippines it is usually warm but a better word for it would be tropical.  And by tropical I mean hot, humid, and a one rainy season.

Daily Life  For most people in the Phillippines they like to sell small items and they like to watch T.V like us! Just like us they also like to play on computers.
