Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach (from Capernaum) and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Jesus began His ministry with ‘transformation’
Matthew 11:20 Jesus began to denounce the cities (Capernaum) in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent. People wanted miracles instead of change.
Luke 5:39 Jesus said, “No one, after drinking old wine wished for new; for he says, ‘The old is good enough.’ ” Why change when got you this far?
Isaiah 53:2 He grew up before Him like a tender shoot. Like a root out of parched ground. He has no stately form or majesty, that we should look upon Him. Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. What Jesus was inside, was hidden.
Isaiah 52:14 His appearance was changed more than any man, and His form more that the sons of men. Jesus was willing to be transformed to experience our anguish
Isaiah 53:4 Our griefs He himself bore and our sorrows He carried. Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. Transformation brings misinformation.
Isaiah 53:11 As a result of the anguish of His soul, He shall be satisfied. Transformation brings contentment.
Isaiah 30:15 “In repentance and rest you will be saved. In quietness and trust is your strength.” But you were not willing. Transformation brings healing.
Isaiah 40:31 Those who hope for the Lord will gain new strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. Transformation brings healing and freedom
