Amazing fossils James

About this power point We have been reading about fossil hunters and searching for fossils. These are some of the things we have learned.

Fossils Fossils are dinosaur bones that have minerals that turn them into stone.

More about fossils Fossils can be tracks, bones, footprints, plants and more.

Paleontologists Paleontologists thought that volcanos killed the dinosaurs but they where wrong. It was later discovered an asteroid that killed them.

How are fossils displayed They make a mold of them. Then they clean off the bones. They are shipped to another place that makes sure they are clean. Then if they are clean they will ship them to a museum.
