Presentation transcript:

 What is Blended Learning? Blended Learning is a integration of instructional media. It includes the traditional classroom or a distance learning environment. It can also include any combination of media that can help support classroom instruction. For example: Blogs, e-Portfolios, voice thread, Wiki’s, slide share & Google Docs.

 NEED (Learning is a process) -To help each student master the content and skills they need to improve learning and to provide access. -To support teachers to get the most out of their planning and face to face teaching time. -To help improve the future workforce, improve partnerships and improve Globalization for all.

 RESEARCH (From passive learning to active learning)

 RESEARCH (From passive learning to active learning) Research has shown that Blended Learning place students in situations that forces them to: read, speak, listen and think. From creating, evaluating, analyzing, applying, understanding to remembering. The lead thinkers in Blended Learning are the early adopters.

 DEVELOPMENT During the development process some concerns are: Learning new technology to use with blended learning. Expecting students and teachers to adapt to blended learning. Finding enough resources to use. Obtaining support from all stakeholders.

 COMMERCIALIZATION The most effective marketing strategy is by example. THINK of Blended Learning as: How Learning is DELIVERED Teachers as the (sender) Students as the (receiver)
