TCP Planning Review Process Similar format to fast track with regional and national review Uses a desktop review (against assessment framework) and planning review panels Assessment framework uses same format as the planning guidance Assessment framework sets out the key standards Panel members will use assessment framework to support review

TCP Planning Review Process cont … Only some plans escalated to a national panel Plans will need to achieve a minimum standard before agreement to mobilise TCPs will have until June/July to be finalise plans before sign off and publication Following review plans will have the status: a) Met requirement – these plans will be given agreement to proceed b) Partially met requirement - assuming all the mandatory elements are met the plan can proceed however must meet all of the panel recommendations before final sign off c) Not met requirement – plans that will be reviewed by the national panel.
