Longitudinal Data System (LDS): Best Practices for Administrators Georgia Educational Technology Conference Nikki Palmore Georgia Department of Education

Purpose of LDS Make informed data-driven decisions to improve student learning. Provides districts, schools, and teachers with access to data (Attendance History, Assessments, Enrollment History, Course History) beginning with the school year. Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses at the school, classroom, and individual student level. Identify reoccurring impediments to student learning.
