Choosing Your Dream Team How do you choose your dream team wisely? Successful teams have the following in common. Committed to a common goal Share common values and expectations Play complementary roles Have a plan for confronting and solving problems Have a plan for evaluating progress

Conflict is a part of life. You need to find ways to solve problems so that you can move forward. Define the problem Diagnose the causes Generate possible solutions Decide on a mutually acceptable solution Implement the solution Evaluate the results Confronting and Solving Problems

Teaming up to Win Relationships that are positive and make you stronger are critical to your ability to achieve your goals. Some partnerships are more successful than others. Identify a person who has had a positive influence on you in your pursuit of a goal.

Building Trust Real trust is established over time, through shared experiences and a pattern of reliability. “If you want to appear trustworthy, be trustworthy.”

Inspiring Trust in Others Here are 11 character traits to help you inspire trust. Do what you say you’ll do. Listen without judgment. Be there. Pay what you owe when it is due. Act honorably even when tempted or criticized. Tell the truth about yourself and others. Guard what is entrusted to you. Be a source of strength. Acknowledge your mistakes. Help others without looking for praise or payment. Put the welfare of others before your own.

Some change is forced upon you by external circumstances. Other change you bring about yourself to create opportunities. Quite often these types of change are mixed. How you approach change is so crucial to your ability to adapt and to use change to learn and to improve your life. Who Do You Trust?
