Opening Note Date: These are things I think I do well. 1.Writing 2.reading 3.Math I am most proud of my grades

The one thing I need to continue to work on the most is science You can help me do this by trying to put me in groups I work better with or help me get along with one I have. My goal before the end of the year is to get all As on my report card

School Feelings  I feel the best about myself in class when get a good grade on a test.  I have the most fun in this class when we play games in class.  I feel proud of myself in this class when I answer something right.  The best thing I contribute to this class is being on student council.

Math Reflection  Things that I have learned 1. how to add fractions 2.long division 3. percent circle  Things I have to work on 1. Showing my work 2. Taking my time 3.Figuring out mistakes

Math Reflection continued  I feel good when I work in math class because I understand most of what were talking about.  Outside of school, I use math when I counting beats of music.

Reading Reflection  Things that I have learned 1.compare and contrast 2. prereading nonfiction 3.ploblem and solution  Things that I have to work on 1.Sticking with a book 2.Finding a good book 3.Letters

Home Reading Reflection  The kind of books I like to read are fantasy  I choose what I’m going to read by what genres  I can become a better reader by trying new genres

Reflection on Writing  I think my writing is improving because Mr. Arbaugh is making us go though all the steps of writing.  I am really proud of my memoir.

Writer’s Workshop  I feel good when I work in writer’s workshop because I get a lot ideas.  I use writing in my everyday life when work in writing in the summer
