Career In 1951 he joined the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice Worked with Joe McCarthy He resigned and rejoined twice May have been some problems with personal relations between him and other co-workers

Later on he started to help manage his brothers presidential campaign It was successful, and he ended up being appointed U.S. Attorney General in his brother’s administration

After the assassination of his brother, Robert Kennedy remained in the Lyndon Administration for a brief period After he left there, he went on to be the New York senator

The Beginning of the End Robert Kennedy started to run for president Was actually doing pretty good Was especially popular with minority groups because of the unique concern he showed Was at LA making a speech at a hotel, when later everything went wrong

His Death Robert Kennedy was then rushed to the hospital where he passed away at around 1:44AM on June 6 th The assassin/shooter was Sirhan Sirhan He was sentenced to life in prison ((There are theories that it was actually a CIA agent or someone like that who got the head shot blow on RFK since Sirhan was too far away to get that close))
