How can we support our 21 st Century Learners? Promethean Support – using Promethean Planet Communicating and Collaborating - Google Docs Sharing Ideas – Using Blogs and Classroom Websites Bringing Presentations to Life - Prezi

Promethean Planet Source for teacher created flipcharts by subject area and level. Support for Promethean Board related questions and problems.

Google Docs Free cloud-based document, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing and form applications. Allow for collaboration and easy sharing!

Classroom Websites and Blogs Add another layer to classroom communication and student responsibility. A classroom website can help to organize calendars, daily tasks, assigned work and even make-up assignments. Videos of classroom labs or lectures can be added (using free video hosting) along with links to online activities to support classroom learning. Blogs can be used to clear up misconceptions in the classroom and allow for student discussion that can be moderated by the teacher.

Prezi Prezi is an interactive online presentation tool that allows students to incorporation text, pictures and video. Can be shared easily.
