DESCRIPTION A giraffes coat is made up of brownish, blackish, orangeish or rusty “sorts” _ _ more like a patchwork _ _ separated by light- colour or whitish lines. The giraffe also has 2 horns.

I NTERESTING FACTS Giraffe population are relatively stable. No current protective laws.

DIET In the wild, giraffes have also been seen to eat weaver –bird nest with young inside and may chew on bones perhaps to gain additional minerals

ENEMIES A giraffe enemy is a lion, leopard and a crocodile.

SIZE Male giraffes are lager than a females. Males weigh between 2,400 and 3,00 pounds and stand up to 19 feet tall. Female giraffes weigh between 1,600 and 2,600 and grow to be 16 feet tall
