General History  Dartmouth is an ivy league school founded in  The founder of the school was named Reverend Eleazer Wheelock.  Established to educate native Americans  In 1972 the college became coeducational.  Nearly 1,000 Native American alumni.  Governor Wentworth provided the land the university was built on.  Their colors are green and white and their formal mascot is The Big Green. But the students have created their own mascot called Keggy the Keg

General History  T’was the subject of a landmark US court case in Dartmouth vs. Woodward. The college prevailed against the state of New Hampshire which sought to amend Dartmouth’s charter- one of the most formative and important documents in US constitutional history.
