2 Reportnet Reportnet is a system of integrated IT tools and business processes creating a shared information infrastructure optimised to support European environmental reporting Reportnet is increasingly used since 2002 for environmental data flows in various domains

11 Conclusions I environmental data centresThe introductions of European environmental data centres identifying EEA as water data centre and similar reporting processes call for a unified reporting system WFD reporting will move to the usage of the Reportnet system Future developments will open the possibility for advanced data sharing (provided increased harmonisation)

13 Conclusions II The Art.8 reporting process has started with Provision of Access tool to support submission by WRc in December Nomination of national data reporters by February 1 st (date to be confirmed) National data delivery of Art.8 data by March 22 nd 2007
