Hurricane Watch 2 The National Hurricane Center in Miami has issued a hurricane watch for the Southern and Central FRCC areas

FRCC Preparations 3 RC sends out notifications to Operating Entities (OEs) for situational awareness RC and OEs should begin coordinating hurricane response activities RC may establish regional conference calls, which include all OEs along with natural gas pipeline operators Operating Entities (OEs): Applicable NERC registered organizations. This includes, but is not limited to, Balancing Authorities, Transmission Operators and Reliability Coordinators

RC Calls 4 Focus on status of areas in the projected path of the storm Re-affirm the expected generation dispatch within the Region Determine the scope of any on-going maintenance activities or equipment return to service time frames

Hurricane Warning 5 The National Hurricane Center in Miami has issued a hurricane warning for the Southern and Central FRCC areas

RC Hurricane Call 6 RC next-day process to run every eight (8) hours OEs notify RC of maintenance activities/outages being canceled FPL notifies RC schedules with SOCO are being cut to zero for hour ending 1600 to 2400 and bringing on all GTs in the south to max

Hurricane Lindahl 7 Status Hurricane Lindahl made landfall as Cat. 3 in Broward County Lindahl made it’s way WNW across the FL and is headed for the Gulf of Mexico

Hurricane Lindahl 8 The National Hurricane Center in Miami has issued a revised hurricane warning for the Northwest FRCC areas

Tropical Storm Lindahl 9 Status Tropical Storm Lindahl made landfall exited Manatee county and is expected to intensify to Hurricane strength in the Gulf. TS Lindahl is expected to head to the FL Panhandle Alabama gulf coast as a Cat 2 Hurricane.
