Housekeeping/Environmental Services WAC 246-320-405 The Purpose of the Management of the Environment of Care Is To Manage The Environmental Hazards and Risks, Prevent Accidents and Injuries, and Maintain Safe Conditions For Patients, Visitors and Staff CMS Standard 485.623(b)(4) The Premises are Clean and Orderly “Clean and Orderly” means an uncluttered physical environment where patients and staff function safely. Equipment and supplies are stored in proper spaces, not in corridors. Spills are not left unattended. There are no floor obstructions. The area is neat and well kept.
