The USA is the most capitalistic system in the world. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Afghanistan has the smallest because of the complete absence of capitalism and uneducated people. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. Japan is the 5 th ranked and is developed. Brazil is the 6 th ranked and is undeveloped. Brazil is a poor country. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Egypt is the 8 th ranked country and is developing. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Germany stands out to me on the chart. Germany is a capitalistic country.

5. Ranking of Oil Consumption 1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? USA is the largest consumer of oil. The USA develops all the oil and provides the most good to the world with that oil. It also provides security and aid for most of the world. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Zambia has the lowest consumption of oil. Because it is an under developed country with no industry and poor quality of life. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. Canada is the 5 th ranked and is developed and Afghanistan is the 6 th ranked country and is a developing country. Canada because how large the country is and produces a lot of oil. Afghanistan must be ranked 6 th because of the war. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? Germany is the 8 th ranked country and is developed and industrious. Brazil will need to undergo a lot of development. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. China stands out on the chart as a large consumer. China is developing and soon it will be the number one consumer as China grows.

I think that this country has the largest population because the country is big. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Zambia has the lowest and is very small and poor country. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Germany is the 6 th ranked country and highly developed. Egypt is at this ranking because of the few opportunities and the land is useless. Germany is at this ranking because of how small the country is but offers great opportunity for business. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? The 7 th ranking country is France and the 8 th ranking country is Canada and are both developed countries. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. China is the country that stands out to me. The type of impact it has on world consumption is that Chinas population is too much and they are going to be unable to take care of their people.
