Netherlands (Holland) Much of the land in the Netherlands depends on dikes to keep the water out.

windmill Wind turns the blades on the windmill to use wind power for a variety of things, like pumping water, grinding corn, driving small sawmills, and driving electrical generators to make electricity.

gurgling The gurgling sound of water moving over the rocks in the stream was very calming. ( making a sound like a bubbling liquid )
