2. What is the history of Thanksgiving? Most stories of thanksgiving start with the harvest celebrations of the pilgrims and the Indians that took place in the autumn of 1621. However, the “First Thanksgiving” was not a holiday, it was simply a gathering.

4. Many celebrate Thanksgiving by sharing a big dinner with their family and friends. Also by simply taking the time to give thanks to the things they are thankful of. How do we celebrate?

5. Tradition Throughout the course of history, this bountiful harvest has been celebrated with ceremonies of giving thanks. Each family has their own traditions that make their holiday celebrations complete.

6. What do you like the most about Thanksgiving? The thing I like most about Thanksgiving is the food. I also like the fact that most of my family comes over to spend time.
