7. Definition: Sin is an attitude of the heart in rebellion to God.

8. I have many friends who are good, good people, but I know that they are not Christians. They have made it clear that they are not interested in becoming a Christian. These people are considerate, loving, generous, have loving, stable marriages, are excellent employees and I could go on and on. They think they don’t need Jesus and on the surface they don’t. Where is there hope for my friends?

9. Romans 3 1)Their direction is away from God. 2)There is nothing good about them. 3)They have no ultimate peace. 4)They have no fear of God.

10. 2)What we deserve for our sin is death.

11. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

12. 3)The only hope for our salvation is Jesus.
