I decided that the job as a EMT Paramedic sounds interesting. I have a major interest in the medical field and believe that this is the type of job I would want to pursue. With proper research you will understand the standards and requirements needed for a specific job. With this information you can decide if a certain type of job is right for you. Otherwise, you can work harder to meet the needed requirements for your desired job. You can obtain information from sites and from the actual employer.

Job applications will ask about your education, background, etc. so you must be prepared to fill out an application before applying for a job. Filling out an application tells the employer if you are fit for the job at hand. When filling out an application: Be sure to write correctly in ink. Make sure everything is filled out. Be sure you are willing to take the responsibilities of the job. Application Example

When filling out a resume: Fill out in ink. Fill everything applicable to you. Resume Example Before filling out a resume you should make sure you know past experiences to place on it, such as education, work, references, job goals, and personal data. When filling out a resume, you should understand if you want the job and/or fit for the job. Don’t include references unless asked by your employer. When placing additional data about yourself, use data that can help benefit your image.

When making a cover letter, it must be interesting to the employer so they become interested in looking at your resume. If your cover letter isn’t interesting than the employer won’t think of looking at your resume. When writing a cover letter you should: mail it to the employer, keep it interesting and organized, proofread it, and make sure your cover letter will be able to arrive on time. Cover Letter Example

When making your reference sheet: 1) You should make sure that your references will provide you with a good preferences. 2) You should include: work, academic, and personal references. 3) Provide appropriate information for your employer to contact your references. Before entering an interview you must be prepared to answer certain questions that your interviewer will be asking, ranging from the job to personal things. You must properly research the position that you are about to enter so you can be more adept to answer questions. You must also make sure you wear proper attire to convey to your employer that you are serious about the interview. Be sure to bring the proper materials with you to the interview in case your employer asks for them. How to properly dress for an interview: Males:  Wear suit jacket, dress pants, shirt and tie.  Have your hair nicely cut and be neatly shaven.  Make sure to get rid of your body odor. Females:  Avoid putting on too much make-up and other accessories.  Wear simple, loose clothing.  Be sure to look appealing to others.  Make sure not to use too much perfume as to overpower your interviewer.

The purpose of the letter is to show your employer that you are thankful for being interviewed by them and your enthusiasm for the job. When composing a thank-you letter you should include a proper heading, body paragraph, and signature. The main portion of the letter will be thanking your interviewer for being interviewed. You may include any changes in your resume in the letter and any other type of notifications to the employer.

You must consider the aftermath of quitting and make sure that you are sure with this decision. When writing you resignation letter: Include your resignation date. Reasons for your resignation, but do not criticize the company or any individual. Sign your letter to approve that you are resigning.
