2 Amazon The Amazon forest is the worlds largest natural resource, it represents more than 50% of the worlds rainforest that is left on earth today. Over half of the amazon rainforest is located in Brazil, but it is also located in other South American countries including Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Guyana, Bolivia, Suriname and French Guiana. As you would think, that there are lots of different types of species in a rainforest, well 10% of the world’s known species live in the Amazon, 20% of the world’s bird species‘. It is home to around 2 and a half million different insect species’, there are also a number of dangerous species living in the Amazon such as the cougar, jaguar and anaconda. the Amazon Rainforest has a unique assortment of plants and animals. In some spots, the vegetation is so dense that sunlight can't reach the rainforest floor.

3 Amazon river The Amazon River is not only the second longest river in the world, but it is one of the widest rivers on earth. 20% of the water that pours out of the planets rivers into the oceans is water from the Amazon. The Amazon dominates South America, collecting water from 40% of the continent, in the form of thousands of tributaries

4 Cerrado The Cerrado is located in Brazil’s central high plains region, the Cerrado covers approximately 23 percent of Brazil’s surface area. It is the world’s most biologically diverse savannah, with over 10,000 species of plants, the Cerrado also feeds three of the major water basins in South America: the Amazon, Paraguay and São Francisco Rivers. The Cerrado is a sprawling savanna stretching across 1.2 million square miles of central Brazil.

5 Beaches Brazil's beaches can be enjoyed at any time of the year. The beaches in and around Rio de Janeiro are probably some of the most famous in the world today. Copacabana is one of the most visited beaches in the world! Copacabana is located in the southern zone of the city Rio de Janeiro, famous for its 4 km beach.
