3. Queen Victoria was crowned at the age of 18! The royal ring was put on her wrong finger! The new Queen was dressed in many radiant dress colours Victoria was crowned Thursday 28 th June 1838

4. In 1840 during her reign, Victoria married her cousin Albert of Saxe-Cobourg. In 1861 Albert died suddenly. For the rest of her life she wore black. This was a way of mourning for her husband. 1866 was the first time Victoria showed herself in public after her husbands death.

5. She slept in her mother’s bed She had a dog named Dash and was very fond of animals She had to keep silent or else her uncle would beat her
