In view of having a robust, durable and enhanced adaptation system under the new agreement, what would you envision happening in 2025 for adaptation? How would it work? How can the new agreement address the link between the level of mitigation and the level of associated adaptation that is required? How can this be captured dynamically in the agreement?

Bare minimum for loss and damage is to anchor it in the new agreement, to ensure that it continues beyond the 2016 WIM review, moving from understanding it to implementing responses Initiate processes to understand and address loss and damage, develop approaches to address permanent losses Finance for L&D (addressed in the finance discussion)
