2 THE THREE LAWS OF MOTION.  Sir Isaac Newton was one of the greatest scientist and mathematicians that ever lived. He was born in England on December 25, 1643. When Newton was in school, he start writing ideas in a journal. He had new ideas of motion, which he called THE THREE LAWS OF MOTION. He also had ideas about gravity, the diffraction of light, and forces. He died in 1727.

4 INERTIA.  Theory: An object at rest will stay at rest, and an object in motion or moving will keep moving, unless acted on by an unbalanced force. It is a combined friction from the ground and the air. This is also called the law of INERTIA. Also if there is no friction, the object wouldn´t stop, but with friction the object will stop in a certain time.

7  Theory: Acceleration is produced when a force acts on mass. The greater the mass, the greater amount of force needed. So, heavier objects require more force to move the same distance as lighter objects.

8  Theory: For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. This means that for every force there is a reaction force that is equal in size, but opposite in direction. So an object pushes an object it gets pushed back in the opposite direction equally hard.
