The use of reflexive pronouns Some verbs are commonly used with reflexive pronouns in English: (*) amuse – blame – cut - dry – enjoy – hurt and introduce. e.g.: He hurt himself when he fell.

The use of reflexive pronouns Use reflexive pronoun when the subject and the object are the same: e.g.: I saw myself in the mirror. He was pleased with himself.

The use of reflexive pronouns Reflexive pronouns can be used to emphasise who did the activity. e.g.: I cooked this meal myself!.

Each other, one an onother We use each other and one another to show that each of two or more people does something to the other. e.g.: They really love each other.
