3 Desktop Publisher Usually making from $20,000 - 60,000 a year, the main job of a desktop publisher is to meet with clients and use computer software to arrange text and graphics for appealing printed products. Desktop publishing jobs can be found in ad firms, large companies, printing plants, other publishers, & some are self-employed.

4 This job requires at least a high school and college degree plus skills in Internet apps and design programs. Desktop publishers must also have people skills and have artistic ability. Education Requirements for Desktop Publishers

6 Project Manager Project managers put together the activities of professionals involved in making computer programs. Part of the job includes assigning tasks to team members, estimate project lengths, and oversee how the work is done. Some project managers can make up to $120,000 annually. Insurance companies, accounting firms and banks hire project managers.

7 This job requires a high school degree and at least a 2-year college degree. Plus project managers must be able to motivate others, solve problems, and stay organized. 9 Webmaster Webmasters are the middle man between the boss and the website. They take what information the company wants and puts it into a webpage. Also, webmasters need to promote the site and keep in touch with users. The company relies on their webmaster(s) to create an organized page and keep it up to date with no clutter. As a starting webmaster you can make $30-50,000 a year.

10 In order to be a webmaster you must pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer science at a 4-year college. This degree takes 3 to 4 years typically and includes courses in computer programming, database management, graphics, and math. Education Requirements for Webmasters
