2. TYPE THE FOLLOWING TEXT. I took my car to a body shop To patch on a fender top, To change the oil and check the brakes, But they worked on me by some mistake. They oiled my joints and greased my hair, Then filled my left foot full of air. They wiped my glasses and washed my trunk, And cleaned my crankcase of all gunk. They patched my scratches up with putty (The same exact shade as my body). In steely clue they sprayed my back, Till I shone like a Cadillac. They snapped two wipers on my eyes And gave my skin a Simonize. They screwed a mirror on my side, Then bolted bumpers to my hide. They glued two taillights to my heels And gave me four steel-alloy wheels. They put new brake pads on my feet, Then rolled me out onto the street, Placed a price tag on my head, And sold me to a guy name Fred. So now in Fred’s garage I wait- For me the time is far to late.
