University system similar to US 4 year program to obtain a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Equivalence with degrees in the US. In principle, equivalent to French L3, but in practice, no formal recognition. Wide choice of subjects over the first two years with specialisation over the last 2 years. Large campuses with lots of student residents and lots of organised social activities.
