Unit Purpose “To assist in maximizing the utilization of faculty and staff to meet student needs by maintaining policies and procedures that enhance equitable and consistent treatment in all personnel functions: employment, benefits administration, and employee relations."

Received final approval and implemented new evaluation process. Received approval for increase of salary range minimums Processed 2,787 applications Updated New Employee Orientation Program Improved PowerPoint presentation Public Information office finalizing updated video to be used beginning June 30, 2003 Accomplishments 2002-03

Personnel actions Filled 80 position vacancies Coordinated hiring process for 62 new full time employees Processed 19 resignations Handled Retirements for 7 employees Revised and improved applicant tracking database Implemented online security screening that is more cost effective and time efficient Accomplishments 2002-03

Planning Objectives 2003-04 College Goal: Excellent Employees & Staff Cultivate an excellent, highly qualified faculty & staff through recruitment, retention, recognition, and professional development. Work with Evaluation Task Force to review the results of the new evaluation system and work submit any recommended revisions to the President & College Council for approval Research Bluebird document imaging system use for Personnel records to simplify records management and decrease need for additional space Development of Worker’s Comp Handbook
