Business Background Business x is an office based call center They have a 24 hour operation 75% of their staff work shift rotations 25% work standard working hours, 9am to 5pm 10% of staff are senior management who travel frequently on business using company owned vehicles or taxis. There are 250 staff based on site

3. Background to Business Located in an out of city industrial park There is a sation located 5km away that serves the surrounding area. In frequent bus service serves the site There is not enough car pakring spaces for site (90 pakring spaces) 50% of staff live within 5 km 40% of staff live between 5 and 10km 10% of staff live over 20km away.

4. Problem The office if being expanded to create another 100 jobs but the building work will reduce the nmber of parking apces to 20.

Questions 1.Which soft measures would you introduce to manage the tranport to the orgnisation and make it more sustianable? 2.How would you encourage other businesses on the industrial park to work together to solve transport issues? 3.What information would you collect to talk to the council about improving the bus service?
