2 Pangasinan is the third biggest province in the whole Philippine Archipelago. Its name is derived from salt because of the rich and fine salt beds in the province’s coastal towns. Pangasinan has a crescent –shape and occupies 536,818 hectares of land area. It is composed of 4 cities and 44 municipalities. It is also located in Luzon part of Pilipinas and to the north it is bounded by the Lingayen Gulf.

3 Pangasinan has a diverse cultural heritage from the combination of tradition, innovation, and creativity, the warm, polite, hospitable, hard-working and fun loving 2.65 million Pangasinenses. You can experience a whole lot of beautiful places with the diverse culture. Pangasinan is still preserved with a vast panorama of outstanding natural beauty and unique attractions.

4 Pangasinan boasts of stretches of white, sandy beaches, verdant hills, scenic terrains, caves, waterfalls, ancient Hispanic churches, miraculous destinations for devotees, a vast coastline for fishing, water sports or leisurely walking along the Lingayen beach where one can get a glimpse of the world-famous Philippine sunset. Some famous attractions in Pangasinan are the Hundred Islands National Park, Bolinao: Enchanted Cave, Gef’s Waterpark, and Subic Bay.

6 To conclude, Pangasinan is a very cultural, and diverse province in the Philippines that also has its own gulf which attracts many tourists to it. Pangasinan also has many beautiful attractions such like the Hundred Islands National Park, Gef’s Waterpark, Bolinao: Enchanted Cave, and Subic Bay. The reason why I like and want to go to Pangasinan is because most of my family were born and raised there and also because I want to experience all the beautiful attractions that are present there.
