Lower Middle Class White collar jobs Less education, lower income Nursing, middle management, sales Owners of small businesses Live comfortable life but must work hard.

Working Class Manual labor, factory, landscaping, trades people, less skilled workers and some service jobs. “ Blue collar” Some pay as much or more than some lower middle class jobs. Not as much prestige Clerical, lower level sales,

Working poor Lowest paying jobs Temporary or seasonal House cleaning, migrant farm work, day labor High school drop outs Depend on some government aid Work hard barley make a living wage.

Underclass Unemployment / poverty / generational Undesirable low paying jobs Public aid “Day to Day Struggle “ Typically only about 50% ever make it to a higher class.
