These are first of all picturesque landscapes and their unrepeatedness which impart originality to these routes. Steep rocky or wooden banks with the heights to 200 m, unique travertine rocks and geological exfoliation, caves and grottos with signs of human settlement here on them, waterfalls, picturesque islands, monuments of nature, history, architecture, ethnography – all these we can see, visit, we hear stories about them and tell these stories ourselves.
4
And all this is a wild and virginal nature which gives a perfect possibility to plunge into the world of silence and calmness.
5
Warm climate in the canyon distinguishes this territory from other territories of Western Ukraine, walls of the canyon detain sun warm, therefore it rains almost never in summer here, and in spring plants blossom 2-3 weeks earlier. Dnistr slopes have lots of rear plants, animals, birds. The route of the trip passes along the borders of several regions – oblasts, which guarantees relative remoteness from “civilization” and in that way – complete relaxation.
6
About 100 historical and natural monuments that are of world-wide importance are located on its territory. So if You want to enjoy this unique beauty and receive unforgettable impressions join us on our boat trip down the Dniester Canyon.
