NATIVE AMERICANS OR ABORIGINAL PEOPLE WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE IN CANADA

THE NATIVE AMERICANS HAVE BEEN LIVING IN NORTH AMERICA FOR MORE THAN 10,OOO YEARS.

NATIVE AMERICANS LIVED IN TRIBES SIMILAR TO THE NATIVE PEOPLE OF TAIWAN

THE ABORIGINAL PEOPLE LIVED OFF THE LAND. THEIR HOMES WERE CALLED TEE PEES.

TODAY SOME NATIVE AMERICANS ARE STILL TRYING TO PRESERVE THEIR OLD WAY OF LIFE.

SOME NATIVE AMERICANS PROTEST FOR THEIR RIGHTS AS THE FIRST PEOPLE IN CANADA

OTHERS CHOOSE TO EXPRESS THEIR IDEAS THROUGH ART AND BY SHOWING PEOPLE THE BEAUTY OF THEIR CULTURE.

SYMBOLS CAN REPRESENT STRONG IDEAS OF A LOST WAY OF LIFE.

IMAGES SERVE AS REMINDERS FOR NATIVES AS WELL AS INFORM NON- NATIVES OF THE IMPORTANCE OF REMEMBERING A PAST WAY OF LIFE.

THEY BELIEVE THAT ANIMALS CAN TEACH THEM ABOUT HOW TO LIVE.

THE NATIVES TOLD MANY STORIES ABOUT ANIMALS THINKING LIKE HUMANS.THIS IS A POEM THAT HAS AN EAGLE SPEAKING. I have been to the end of the earth. I have been to the end of the waters. I have been to the end of the sky. I have been to the end of the mountains. I have found none that are not my friends.
