9. Consistency Nouns and pronouns need to be consistent
If a sentence uses a plural noun, it must continue to use a plural noun.
Pronouns: do not change pronouns. For example, do not switch from you to they or he for no reason. If you use the pronoun “you” at the beginning of the paragraph, continue to use it throughout the rest of the paragraph.
