2. The March on Washingto n The march of Washington was a event held on August 28 th,1963.The event was held for whites and blacks to have equal rights. Black people could not marry white people in 21 states they could not use the same bathrooms, water fountains, stores and if a white person wanted a black persons seat on a bus had to give it away or they would get arrested.
